Operatic Tenor, Nathan Granner is world renowned as a solo and collaborative artist. His buoyant yet elegant personality shines from every stage he touches and his voice fills the hall with a beautiful, refined lyric timbre and musicality that hearkens back to tenors of the golden age of opera, yet is saturated with modern sound.

Granner’s early iconic career is blessed with distinct variety and extremes. As a major label Classical Crossover artist he is an original member of the Sony Masterworks recording group, The American Tenors and as world class tenor he has bowed as Nemorino (L'Elisir D'amore), Ferrando (Cosí fan tutte), at companies such as Lyric Opera Kansas City, Opera Theater St. Louis and Pittsburgh Opera Center stemming from his breaks with the venerated Wolf Trap and Glimmerglass Operas. He has toured extensively as a solo artist with classical guitarist Beau Bledsoe, bringing new arrangements of Lieder and Chanson to remote places as Glendive, Montana and Perm, Russia, a city of more than a million people held secret until the cold war ended.

While at home with the powerful staples of the operatic repertoire and slick industry performances with the likes of producer David Foster, Nathan has also found a place with contemporary classical music, creating five new opera roles in two years; one of which garnered his most interesting role to date as that of Kanye West.

Nathan is also a veteran producing artist. Through cutting edge collaborations with multiple artists and producers in the medium of Opera, Concerts, Recorded Media, Musical Theater and Performance Art Installation, Granner helps open the door for new audiences to enjoy classical music.

He is also an avid karaoke devotee and after bowing as Rodolfo at Tulsa Opera he is certified Bohemian.

Il mio tesoro intanto Meantime go and
andate a consolar, console my dearest one,
E del bel ciglio il pianto and seek to dry the tears
cercate di asciugar. from her lovely eyes.
Ditele che i suoi torti Tell her that I have gone
a vendicar io vado; to avenge her wrongs,
Che sol di stragi e morti and will return only as the messenger
nunzio vogl'io tornar. of punishment and death.

Track Name: Je crois entendre encore
Je crois entendre encore
Caché sous les palmiers
Sa voix tendre et sonore
Comme un chant de ramiers.
Oh nuit enchanteresse
Divin ravissement
Oh souvenir charmant,
Folle ivresse, doux rêve!

Aux clartés des étoiles
Je crois encor la voir
Entr'ouvrir ses longs voiles
Aux vents tièdes du soir.
Oh nuit enchanteresse
Divin ravissement
Oh souvenir charmant
Folle ivresse, doux rêve!

Charmant Souvenir!
Charmant Souvenir!

I still believe I hear
hidden beneath the palm trees
your voice tender and deep
like the song of a dove
oh night enchantress
divine rapture
delightful thought
mad intoxication, sweet dream
in the clear starlight
I still believe I see
in between the long sails
of the warm night breeze
oh night...etc.

In der Ferne
Ludwig Rellstab

Wehe dem Fliehenden, Welt hinaus ziehenden! - Fremde durchmessenden, Heimat vergessenden, Mutterhaus hassenden, Freunde verlassenden Folget kein Segen, ach!

In the Distance

Woe to the fugitive, Fleeing the world! Roaming foreign places, Forgetting his homeland, Hating his mother’s house, Leaving his friends
Alas, no blessing follows Along their ways.

Heart that is yearning, Eye that is weeping Longing that never ends, Turning toward home. Breast that is stirring, Lament that is fading, Evening star twinkling, Hopelessly sinking!
Breezes, you rippling, Waves gently ruffling, Sunbeam hastening Nowhere remaining:

She who with agony
Broke my loyal heart— Greetings from the fugitive, Fleeing the world!
